Research On Reconstructuon Of Apartment For Elder People At Low-income Area

This research deeply analyzed domestic population aging problem and home-based care services for aged people by collection involved information and spot investigation. In China, old people home-based care services are constantly weakening influenced by related factors such as values, tradition and family structure. It is absolutely impossible that social endowment institution whom support by government can meet the demand for every aged people at present stage regardless of quantity and quality. To investigate the the aged living condition in economic backward areas at present, we take Lantian County as an example which suffered population aging, slow economic development, number of empty nest elderly growth,and weaker living condition for the aged.By taking the aged as the research object, we introduce the theory of reconstruction old residential for elderly people with the purpose of providing suitable living condition for the aged.This thesis study on all design requirements for barrier-free access commencing from some involved aspects such as physiology, psychology and behavior of the aged. We looked forward to achieve more confidence research results by using experience and design idea of domestic and other countries for reference.In fact, a majority of residences in Lantian can not meet the demand for the aged regardless of hardware facilities or spatial function. However, paradoxically, most of old people are centralized living in such lower specification level residences. Therefor, the problem of residential buildings for the aged is particularly outstanding in economic backward areas compared with developed.Firstly, the research emphasis of this paper is reconstruction old residential for the aged along with definite research research range, contents and method. Meanwhile, The article analyzes the living characteristics and demands for the elderly people, Which provide a theoretical and practical basis for concrete implementation.And then, considering the most aspects of old people demands and characteristics including space, details and equipment, we putted forward reconstruction methods consideration to dwelling unit type, living space, kitchen, toilet and public space in old residential based on spot investigation.Finally,by reviewing relative documents and making spot investigation, the paper discussed prospects and feasibility scheme on technology and architecture design of reconstruction old residence in Lantian for elderly people.
