Study On Highway Landscape Segmental Planning Based On Regional Features

Highway stretches on the earth as a strip artificial structure, and it may across multiple of regions with different features along the way. Highway landscape should be planned segmental with the change of natural and cultural environment on both sides of the road, so that we can create a landscape corridor which has its own special regional features, and make the drivers’ and passengers’ minds and bodies both relaxed. This paper mainly studies the highway landscape segmental planning methods and highway landscape design methods based on the regions features along the highway.On the basis of data collection and documental analysis, this article summarized some thought-provoking problems in the process of highway landscape construction at present stage. At first, this article introduces some relevant content of highway landscape regional design of linear landscape and landscape node, and then summed up the relationship between regional feature elements and highway landscape design according to the foreign and domestic highway landscape design methods. Then conclude the regional elements application principles and modes in highway landscape planning and designing, finally, proposed the concept of “highway landscape segmental planning based the regional feature”, and the cluster-node control method is used for highway landscape segmental planning. Take Zhun-Xing highway landscape design as an example. First, accessing the natural and cultural landscape resources based on the site investment results, then divided Zhun-Xing highway into six segments according to the design objectives. At last, design the elements of linear landscape and landscape nodes at each segment.This paper aims to discuss a highway landscape design method, which can efficiently protect, use, create and improve the environment resources along the highway. So that the extent of environment resources damage along the highway can be minimized, and it has great significance on the highway landscape optimization and regional cultural inheritance.
