Study On The Design Method Of Highway Landscape Elements And Background Based On The Characteristics Of The Driver

With the expanding of China’s highway network, people’s travel has been not only a simple space moving, and if the designer just from a practical and convenient way of thinking to design and build highways can not meet the needs of the times. A reasonable highway landscape design scheme makes the road users feel that they are in a beautiful and comfort driving environment, which is key point of modern highway design. The design of highway landscape element is the main point of highway landscape design, and the background of the landscape is the foundation of highway landscape design, and these two parts are indispensible in the highway landscape design.On basis of the comprehensive study on international development and landscape design and research status of highway, this paper studied on the concept of highway landscape elements firstly. It referenced to the traditional landscape design and made an effort on a new method of classification of highway landscape elements. On basis of analysis of driver characteristics——physiological and psychological characteristics, dug into the concept of highway landscape sensitivity and reasonable classification, thus put forward the design method in different landscape sensitive areas. Then studied on the background design of highway landscape, and analyzed cases of highway elements and background relying on the ZhunXing highway in Inner Mongolia.The research results of the paper provided a certain reference and value on improving the highway landscape design, what is conducive to create more beautiful and comfortable road landscape environment.
