With the global environment issues and energy consumption being increasingly serious, the development of thermodynamic cycle with high efficiency and low pollution has received widespread attention, including gas turbine and combined cycle technology has occupied an increasingly important position in the power industry. The continuous improvement of operating parameters propose a higher request of rapidity and accuracy of gas turbine control system response. As so far, there has not formed mature gas turbine control technology. The power stations almost import gas turbine control system from the foreign company. Therefore, the development of gas turbine control system with independent intellectual property rights is important for the development of domestic gas turbine technology. Meanwhile, the successful operation experience of introduced gas turbine control system provides very valuable information for domestic research and design of gas turbine control system.Focus on the gas turbine in a combined cycle unit, this paper firstly established a gas turbine simulation model on VC++ platform with the experimental data. Secondly, by researching control theory of the gas turbine control system, control systems have been established in the form of logical configuration on Ovation platform. Finally, through the interface with third-party platform that Ovation system provides, data exchange between gas turbine model on VC++ platform and control system on Ovation platform has been realized. A complete gas turbine closed-loop simulation system was established.Gas turbine simulation was conducted under different conditions on this simulation system to verify the accuracy and rationality of control logic. The simulation results matched the actual operation data, which proved the correctness of designed control system. Meanwhile, the results reflected that the established gas turbine control system was able to achieve the control requirements and objectives perfectly. The study results of this paper can provide reference and basis for further research and development.
