So far, all simulation systems in China are developed for the purpose of training good operators for power plants. Nevertheless, to meet the needs of swift development of generation and enhance the safety and reliability of power plants, simulation systems need to be expanded to cover the functions besides training, such as operation, performance analysis and fault diagnosis etc. Apros5.04-an advanced process simulation supporting environment, which provides basic process component models for graphic configuration based on modular modeling, is used in this article to develop the models of all sub-systems of the turbine-island for Pingwei power plant, whereas, special concerns are paided to asymmetric extraction problems in median and low-pressure turbine models etc. Afterwards, the models' coefficients are tuned to make the key parameters' results in simulation under the condition of 100% load to fit for the data given as far as possible. By comparison, the difference's precision meets the need regulated by ISA77.20 and ISA-S77.20-1993. Besides, Dynamic simulation experiments are done on the models of condenser, high-pressure heaters, low-pressure heaters and deaerator under certain typical conditions, to test their main parameters' dynamic response whether they're identical to theoretical analysis. Results show that simulation models developed in this article are good enough to simulate the physical phenomena of the turbine-island in real time both on the static state and on the dynamic state. Meanwhile, the simulation models of the turbine-island can be used as a platform for optimizing operation, enhancing performance and diagnosing faults etc.Together with the simulation models of the boiler-island and generator-island also developed in Apros5.04, the simulation models of the turbine-island introduced in this article compose the all-range high-fidelity simulation models of the multi-functional simulation system of Pingwei power plant.
