Communication Management Research For Early Stage Of The Project Life Cycle

In 21st century, opportunities and challenges coexist nowadays. More intense competitions caused by globalization are faced by companies. Meanwhile, more and more opportunities emerge. It is a must for a company to seize the opportunities, to run a project well and to be competitive. Early stage communication management for project life cycle is crucial.In this paper, detailed analysis on project life circle early stage communication management has been carried out based on characteristics of project early stage and basic theory & method of project communication management. Tongshan new industrial production base project has been taken as an example, meticulous analysis for current situation of communication management in project early stage and problem exist has been carried out. Problems existed in aspects such as influence coming from stakeholder, communication among members of project, external communication, communication regulation, communication management plan and project organization have been analyzed.To solve these problems, a thorough plan for Tongshan new industrial production base including establishing effective communication management system, improving stakeholder register, building complete project communication system, active managing how much stakeholders are involved in the project has been proposed. In the early stage of project life cycle, systematic communication management techniques, systems, and methods are developed to ensure the effective management of shareholders in the early stage and the smooth implementation of the project, consequently, to guarantee the success of the project.
