| Urban business district is the basic law and inevitable choice of economic development and the construction of business civilization,it is a kind of socioeconomic phenomenon around the world.The fluency and convenience of business district traffic is an important prerequisite to guarantee the efficient operation of the business district. In today’s society, urban business district has become more and more like a city card which introduces the city spirit, regional culture, and the characteristic of city life. With the wave of economic construction after more than 30 years after the reform and opening-up, Qingdao rises quickly depending on the exceptional advantages of geographical location and its own deep industrial base, and it becomes the economic primacy of Shandong Peninsula.LiCun business district which has the regional business characteristics of the short logistics also becomes an important commercial area in the north of Qingdao city. The dense network of the roads and the forthcoming completion of the railways promote the personnel flow and logistics distribution of the commercial area,and also cause serious traffic congestion. For example,LiCun bridge and Xiangyang road bridge are two-way single lane bridges,but they take most of the traffic which go through Licun business district and go south, so the congestion becomes more serious because of the bottleneck effect that results from the narrow bridges.At the same time, Licun Fair which arises from Licun River bed retains the business pattern of traditional village fair. Because the fair locates in the low-lying of the river bed, and most of the consumers are low-income people in the area, many motorcycles, tricycles and other transports gather in Licun business district. And the arbitrary increase of the traffic participants aggravates the worsening traffic conditions. The researches on the direction of the city road traffic congestion in our country are mainly concentrated on the scope of city center whose concept is more relaxed. The researches on the business district traffic are relatively small.Compared to the traffic congestion of the city center, business district traffic is limited in the peak hours such as during the holidays, and it has the characteristics of late night jam.This paper is based on the maps and traffic data which are extracted by the author through several site visits, and it makes a comprehensive analysis of the causes of traffic congestion and the existing hidden danger of traffic safety of present Licun business district.Moreover,it puts forward several countermeasures with high feasibility and high efficiency, including adjusting urban commercial system and its layout, improving the functional partitioning of the business district sites,perfecting the structure of road network,expanding the pedestrian street,and carrying out the separation of people and vehicles.This paper will provide a solid reference base of further refining the regional transportation planning and improving the regional transportation efficiency for Licun business district.In addition,it arranges ahead for the coming underground business district time in Qingdao. It plans a brand new traffic layout of "the New Licun Business District" through improving the level of service, enhancing the overall appearance and image of this area,and improving the travel of residents. Furthermore,it will promote the development of Qingdao city to the north, and provide infrastructure support for the expansion of metropolitan area and the relocation of the main part of Qingdao City. This paper not only plans a complete new traffic layout of Licun business district, but also try to make Qingdao become a model of commercial centers with high quality and urban fluent traffic resources which exists in the next plan of Qingdao. |
