Light Emitting Plasma( LEP),appeared in the 1990 s,is a kind of green light s ource with no electrode,using microwave e xcitation glow plasma, it have high efficiency and can saving ene rgy. Due to its lumi nescent propert ies of therma l light,determine s the spectral distributi on clos e to the sunlight spectrum, The LEP i s internationally r ecogni zed as a high efficiency, energy saving, hi gh quality light s our ce.The lighting soluti ons of LEP c ombine the e nergy efficiency, reliability, solid-state lighting control s ystem wit h the high output of HID l amp(metal hal ide l amp and high pressur e sodi um lamp).According to i ts working mecha nism LEP can be divided into two generations of products. The first generation of products is made up of magnetron, me tal waveguide s ystem, metal waveguide ca vity, quartz bulb, motor parts. Due to the limit ations of its working mechanism(bulb high-speed rotation, magnetron, mot or, etc.) l eads to problems such as reliability is not high, can’t completely closed. So the product promotion is very difficult. The second generation product adopts solid-state microwave module to repla ce the magnetron, us ing medium to replace the meta l waveguide system and meta l cavi ty, cancelled the motor a t the same time, makes t he product reliability and greatly i mprove the service l ife, ful ly me et the popularization and application of the commercial conditi ons.In this paper, I s imulate the main body of the mi crowave plasma la mp, dielectric resonat or, with CST. And using ANSYS to analyze the design of dielectric waveguide,It has a guiding significance to the design of RF modul e which provide energy and optimization the design of dielectric waveguide. The main work is divided into the foll owi ng several aspe cts:1, Desi gn and manufacture the body of the mic r owa ve plasma l amp parts based on the s tudy of microwave plasma lamp work principle and the luminous mechanism. I mainly product the waveguide and resonant cavity.2, Us ing CST simulat e the ma in body of the mi crowave plasma lamp, dielectric resonat or. The cavity field distribution and the parameter S are analyzed.3, Using ANSYS do the thermal analys is of the dielectric wavegui de s tructure,which laid a foundation for optimization design of dielectric wave guide.4, The di ele ctri c resonat or structure has been optimiz ed and I r e-analysised the improved dielect ric resonator, and I have the results of the analysis.
