Increasingly serious energy shortage and environmental pollution problems, and promote thedevelopment of electric vehicles. The battery electric vehicle power sources, has become the key torestricting the development of electric vehicles, energy balancing technology has become thecurrent hot topic.The existence of series lithium-ion battery pack during charging and discharging overcharge,over discharge and the traditional equilibrium exists in the way the problem of energy loss, thispaper proposes a battery pack is non-destructive smart balance of the program. The contents of thispaper are mainly the following:(1) Make a brief introduction about lithium-ion battery works and the way of charging,obtained using the pulse charging method can eliminate the polarization in the charging processingand extend the life of the battery pack.(2) Describes several equalization system topology, and compare the advantages anddisadvantages of each method. Described in detail the characteristics and working principle of thefly-back convertor, the equalization circuit is proposed based on the fly-back convertor topology,given the balanced circuit in the transformer core selection and main parameters of the calculation.(3) Through the analysis of the MOSFET switching characteristics, given the design of theswitch driver circuit and fly-back clamp circuit.(4) Build a simulation model in the Matlab environment, the feasibility of the design of theequalization circuit model simulation.(5) Based on the equalization system of lithium-ion battery pack to make a summary andoutlook.
