Study On The Total Quality Management Of Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe Water Transferring Project

With the rapid development of the city water supply and inter-basin water diversion projects of water conservancy construction as while as the increasing application of bigger size and higher pressure vessel, the way to carry water and materials of water pipe are required for higher quality. The way with long distance underground pipe to carry water can be used for the designer as priority because of many advantages such as low cost. As an excellent multi-pipe Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe will be widely promoted and applicated all over the world and its prospects for production applications are very wide. The process of manufacture and installation is relatively more complex and the quality is affected larger by the equipment, design, and other factors relatively since PCCP was used later in the domestic water supply engineering. The quality control measures of the whole project are needed to be gradually improved in practices and studied theoretically.Based on the Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe water transferring item for Connection Works of Wanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project and the PCCP water transferring items such as first, second and third period of water supply project from Rizhao reservoir, we analyzed to the characteristic of PCCP engineering quality control and carried out quality management system and measurement to the PCCP water distribution project. The article systematically studied the quality issues which occurred in Structure, technology and personnel, and technical innovation aspects and gave out the main research contents and the achievements as follows.(1) We elaborated the development and application of PCCP pipeline both at home and abroad and put forward the basic idea for the whole text.(2) We Introduced the total quality management。On the basis of study on the project characteristic of quality management we proposed quality management system and measurement to the PCCP water distribution project.(3) Using total quality management theory, the paper analyses the pipeline engineering structure, personnel, pipe manufacturing, installation process quality management and PCCP pipeline advantage. According to the characteristics of PCCP pipeline especially, creative application system engineering and process control point of view, establishing and implementing the marking and quality trace table management system, summed up a set of large diameter PCCP overall quality management experience, the PCCP pipeline construction and practical application value and reference function.(4) In the total quality management theory in the successful application of this project are summarized, and the further research work is prospected.
