The electrochemical workstation is an analysing and measuring instrument which commonly used in electrochemical teaching and researching process. Nowdays, the electrochemical workstation is developing toward the direction of multifunction, versatility and modularization. Therefore, this dissertation will apply the reconfiguration theoretical ideas of information technology to the design of electrochemical workstation, mainly researching a reconfigurable platform schem for electrochemical workstation. The platform is based on general FPGA+DSP+ARM circuit architecture, with remote configurable function, could conduct switching and loading of different working modes according to user’s testing needs, which enriching the testing and analyzing function of electrochemical workstation. At the same time, the platform provides a convenient method for expansion and promotion of system fuction, which enhancing the modularization, intelligence and diversity of electrochemical workstation. The main researching contents in this dissertation include:1. On the base of FPGA reconfigurable system design method, designing a reconfigurable platform solution based on "ARM Transmission Control + Spartan-3 configuration controller + PROM configuration storage chip" architecture, completing the hardware circuit design of the electrochemical workstation reconfigurable platform.2. Analysising and researching the main principles of reconfigurable configuration: JTAG boundary-scan principle and PROM reconfiguration operation timing process, through the design of the reconfigurable logic module, implementing the function that Spartan-3 configuration controller receving the configuration data through dual RAM port and writing the configuration data to the configuration chip based on the boundary scan interface timing standard.3. According to the characteristics of large amount of continuous same data in the FPGA configuration file, designing the configuration data compression scheme for encoding process which based on the run-length encoding algorithm, reducing the amount of transmissing data and shortening the gap between the platform reconfiguration effectively.Finally,verifing the reconfigurable function of the platform through experiments, the users can directly switch and load different functions to the system on the PC remotely, proving that the reconfigurable platform design scheme is correct and feasible. This scheme can also be applied to the design and research of other related test equipments.
