With the new aviation navigation technology widely used in the global aviation industry, the concept of PBN(performance based navigation) was introduced into navigation system. PBN. PBN contains RNAV(area navigation) and RNP(required navigation performance).And RNP proposes higher requirement of aircraft components. During the application of RNP operation, engineers want to monitor more device information. However, at this stage, large amount of information is still acquired artificially, failed to take full advantage of wireless data transmission network, which increases the human error factor. Establish a new wireless monitoring system of aircraft components in the context of new navigation technology. The new monitoring system help engineers monitor data and performance of equipment instantly, make early prognosis of risks, and ensure the safety of civil aircraft.This thesis fully discusses the design and realization process of wireless monitoring system based on RNP. The author introduces the client/server conformation, and the wireless monitor performance is designed and realized by the use of Microsoft Visual C++6.0, SQL Server 2000, based on Windows development platform. To take the use of ACARS(aircraft communication addressing and reporting system)’s and WQAR( wireless quickly access recorder access)’s wireless network, it make the use of related navigation equipment messages based on RNP, with the way of comparing part number and software version, revising time parameter of engine, graphic showing the engine and pending results, converting the ACARS data and etc, and performed the system developing. By using the components monitoring module based on this system, engineers on the ground can check the software version and computer part number, combined with real-time fault monitoring of information, aircraft condition can predict as early as possible. System uses hazard assessment method to assess aircraft components and engines reliability assessment, assessment scores and results may indicate risk of aircraft components and engines failure. Flight Planner access device after the risk assessment results should be appointed as well as superior aircraft to perform the RNP operation. This article is based on an existing aircraft wireless data transmission network, proposed files uploading and wireless navigation database updating functionality.This thesis solves the engineer’s requirement of RNP monitoring and the performance of remote wireless monitor function is achieved.
