China is experiencing a huge growth in urbanization, which leads the fast economic development and the expansion of local community. This generates some changes in the structure of the city, because citizens become more reliable on motor vehicles. Daily servicing facilities which have directly connection with living demand in people’s normal live, in this circumstances, arise more and more problems.This research focuses on the servicing facilities in slow communities, which design for slow traffics such bike and stroll. This article set the usage of servicing facilities in communities as a starting point, collected information of using frequency, distance of travel and range of demand, then built a frame of assess system. After that, I chose one representable community in three different districts respectively, HEFEI old town, new government district and New BinHu district, as examples by researching their current daily servicing facilities. Through assess system which previous set, I measured the stroll ability of servicing facilities by comparing the difference among three communities.The article has four main parts. This first part is chapter one and two, which finds current problems in daily servicing facilities through relevant background and theories.The next part which contains chapter three is to analysis the usage of facilities among people in three communities by questionnaire and build a assess system of stroll potential. The chapter four, which is belong to part three, is evaluate the assess system of community appliance. The last two chapters belong to the final part, is to compare three communities to study reasons of this program from various aspects, after that, find out insufficient part and propose advanced solution and direction.
