A large amounts of circulating water with low-temperature are produced in thermal power plant, and the thermal energy is enormously. But the temperature of circulating water is higher than the ambient about 10℃. In the production, the low-temperature energy is often exhausted into the atmosphere and it is difficult to use. This is not only polluted the environment, but also wasting energy severely.The waste heat of circulating water will be used by absorption heat pump technology, and the low-temperature energy will be lead into traditional heating system. It’s a new way on energy saving at thermal power plants.Take the project of utilization of waste heat of a 300 MW unit as an example,the article analysis and research the problem of heating that absorption heat pump extract the waste heat of circulating water in the process which the unit was commissioned. First of all, it research the economy of running is less than the design in depth, that after thermal network was reformed. For this problem, we determine optimal parameters which are connect the heat pump and the main,auxiliary units. The parameters which were obtained by the method of combined the theoretical calculations and experimental. Secondly, which based on the first point,we analysis the problem of the absorption heat pump access the heating system to further. We applied the EEDM equations as the basic of analytical methods, and constructed equations of economic calculating of the integration system. And then we analized the thermal economic of condensate water of driving-steam flow to thermodynamic system. Simultaneously, based on the FLUENT, we simulated the flow field of the straight pipe after desuperheater of driving-steam tube. And then determines the length of the straight pipe. Finally, we elaborated how to deal with the huge experimental data, and outlines a detailed project examples.With the analyzing above, the results show that, the application of the project of utilization of waste heat with absorption heat pump technology, which has huge beneficial results on financial condition, environmental and societal. With the analysis of the various factors of operation economy of the absorption heat pump and the the main and auxiliary equipment, the operating parameters of the unit were optimized, So that the advantages of energy-saving of absorption heat pump would be fully play.
