Nowadays, the revolutionary trend impacts on our original appearance of a city in our country: rapid economic growth expansion of the urban areas, the decline of rural areas…Social change led to the transformation of the original living mode and changing. In the process, more and more people actively or passively move into residential areas of dense population. Gathering of the new mode caused the new social problems. Today, the residential area landscape design research turned into a both ancient and new topic, entering into a phase of summarizing the past experience, integration and ascension.Learning the experience of predecessor, I studied and summarized residential landscape design by means of the theoretical approach and practical investigation. The arguments of interactive residential landscape construction are put forward in terms of the existing problems in Nanchang.The first chapters, elaborate the background and significance of the paper research, define the research object and scape and introduce domestic and foreign studies in interactive landscape.The second chapter, guided by the sociology, behavioral psychology, this paper expounds the necessity of the construction of the interactive landscape and analyzes its characteristics, design principles and final design construction goal form the aspects of residential areas and residents.The third chapter, analyze the developing and existing problems of residential landscape in Nanchang by doing example researches of residential areas in Nanchang. Demonstrate the current situation and necessity of interactive landscape construction by doing case researches.The fourth chapter, strengthen the interactivity of landscape elements to build residential area landscape environment, Various elements of the landscape(places, plants, water, lighting and so on) interaction design were discussed separately, and provide theoretical reference for the future residential area landscape construction.The fifth chapter, summary and outlook. Implementing the interactive landscape environmental design should pay attention to the direction; we should constantly seek to create a more suitable habitat and harmonious living environment.
