Abstract/Summary:
Based on the Twelfth Five-year Plan, to 2015, over 5000 substations of SGCC will be built, the core substations and the old substations will be altered to smart-substation. With the rapid advace of smart grid, smart substaion deeply depand on SCD file decripbing the topology and configuration of device in substation. The increased construction and reconstruction of smart substations has exposed a problem with version management of substation configuration discription files dueto frequent changes. To ensure the uniqueness and validity of ubstation configuration discription files, detectiion and manageme of changes in SCD fiels is nessssary, and it’s curial to sfe and stable operation of the gird.This paper analyses key sections of the commnications over IEDs in substation based on object-oriented models and PICOM communication mechanisms. Basic models of IEDs and its virtual connections are constructed on SCD files decomposition, and a comparative approach for differentiation of SCD file and the CRC algrithm is proposed. Comparison of results between three modes and four schemes of mamagement systems is evalued on account of the opertaions in smart substation and the technical and management method is made. Adopting the detective algrithm and data flow system, Gird mamagment system and substation management system is developed. The propsed approach is implemented and validated by FAT and site testing. The propsed approach and developed software make significant contributions to not only version management of SCD, but also sybersecurity of configuration in smart subsation.
