Intelligent substation have characteristics that primary equipment intelligent,all-station digital information, information sharing standardized, and advanced application interactive. Through a high-speed network communications platform,substation equipment can achieve two-way communication. Through the station information network, it can be unified management. So, Intelligent substation is the development trend of substation technology.With large-scale intelligent substation put into operation, especially in the early part of the pilot project was limited to the impact of intelligent substation design, technology, equipment manufacturing level,construction safety commissioning experience and other factors, operating conditions are not ideal, but according to use increase in electricity grid planning and development, has built intelligent substation expansion project has been put on the agenda. However, due to the intelligent substation is an emerging project, intelligent substation renovation and expansion project in China has not conducted a large-scale,successful transformation of cases are rare. On this issue, based on Su Zheng 220 kV intelligent station and Chu Yi 220 kV intelligent station, the intelligent station substation intelligent transformation method has been completed in-depth study in this paper.In the first, this paper analyzes the technical features of intelligent substation and intelligent substation configuration. On the basis of field research of the two stations,this paper researches the characteristics of the different structure of the two stations system.Combined with the author repeatedly substation system reform and expansion of the practice, this paper put forward operable renovation specific embodiment and reconstruction project safety measures of the two substation in theory.Then, research on intelligent substation SCD file control method and importance in intelligent station renovation and expansion work, combined with the two stations alterations, this paper proposed note analysis of SCD file controls in the stage of design debugging stageand project acceptance. Combined with intelligent substation running deficiencies,operation and maintenance of software for intelligent substation was designed. This paper also presented on the key technologies of software development.Synchronous communication network were studied. Finally, for the problem of clock sync issues occurring many times in intelligent station equipment running,this paper raised BMC algorithms and redundant system clock design method to ensure the synchronization signal transmitting and receiving equipment in the substation.The proposed intelligent station renovation plan in each interval include detailed steps and plans, such as the 220 kV lines, main transformer interval, 220 kV PT intervals, 110 kV line spacing, etc., transformation has the very good reference for other substations, in addition the proposed intelligent substation operational software is not only suitable for Su Zheng standing and the appropriate station, also suitable forother intelligent substation equipment maintenance and monitoring data, has the very good practicability.The results of the study will provide further study on intelligent substation improvement scheme and smart grid system software development theory and technology foundation.
