In today’s rapid development of urbanization, the urban and rural construction activities are in full swing, how to focus on the development of human settlements in the environment, make the planning and construction activities to better service for people, is one of the problems should be paid great attention to. As more and more research on the theory and social practice of the village appeared, there are more and more people who concerned about the livable problem, of which the theory and evaluation system of the livable city is relatively mature, but the related problems about the livable village planning is still not yet perfect.Based on the above research, through the research and analysis about the domestic and foreign relevant theory and case to sum up the experience of village construction, according to the contemporary village planning and village renovation planning in realistic problem, put forward to the reasonable improvement strategy. Firstly, use the livable village evaluation method for Yunnan province primarily analyzes the basic situation of DaXinzhai village, analyzes and summary the present situation of the DaXinzhai village. Secondly, take DaXinzhai village as the research object, with the related theory and practice basis of livable city, establish the research method and put forward planning strategy according to the specific issues.This thesis attempts to enrich the theory and method of livable village planning by researching and practical application, and further improves the contents of the evaluation criterion for the livable village, so that the new criterion can guide the future livable village planning and construction. Based on the concept of livable village planning, excavated the historical and cultural context of the village, summarized the development of a scientific and rational model village according to the production-living habits and characteristics of rural residents, serve for the whole village development and environmental protection planning. In order to create a good atmosphere of village life and working environment, make the residents of production and life more convenient and more comfortable and safer and healthier, build livable village which belongs to the local villagers.
