Situation Analysis Of Senior Living Environment In Yanbian Area

Nowadays, the aging in the world is of increasing severity and it is unavoidable in our country’s situation.The aging of population becomes more critical with every passing day, which is the key of Modern Design is to meet different kinds of requirements. The livelihood in old age of senior citizens becomes one of the important indicators of the degree to reflect the social civilization level.YANBIAN as a minority region has its own characteristics. For example, the development speed of regional distribution of the economy is smooth and it is suitable for permanent resident due to the fact that there are obvious changes in the four seasons.However, the reasons why the inverse proportion between the population of the young and the old become out-of-balance are that the old population flow fluctuation of the labor service personnel in YANBIAN region undulated roughly and the increasing population of migrant workers.Therefore, the population of the old who stay at YANBIAN area for a long time is very large.But the old-age care in YANBIAN area doesn’t develop apparently when the old becomes more and more.The second chapter is mainly the collection of relevant research at home and abroad for the elderly living situation, what can be seen in the data is that the changes of the function of the body and mind with human aging are paid more attention in the living space of the old in foreign countries to improve the living environment of the elderly population.Nevertheless, the theory would be the principal part to research the living situation of the old in China and the elderly is divided into special user who needs special care to define the scope of design actually. In the third chapter, it is mainly analysis of survey to the satisfaction of the present living place and requirement to the living point of the old,and to find discrepancies and special needs of the present living place for the old in YANBIAN area.In the fourth chapter, it gives the suggestion of how to get the suitable environment for old persons according to the analysis of survey in the third chapter. To meet the needs of older people and regard "people-oriented",the principle of "can continue to live forever in residential and urban construction" as the foothold to analysis the suitable living house for the older persons from practice, which includes the whole requirement of the living environment to the old and the key analysis of housing design. It aims at creating safe, convenient, comfortable housing and social environment for the old to enjoy their old age.Constructing the house which is suitable for old people to live and humanized designing reflects the principle of fair in a way.
