The Exploration Of Landscape Regeneration In Residence District For Aging Population

Home-based care has been existed in China for a long time. Because of the current situation, it can hardly be depended on the nursing home and the community for old-aged people, the home-based care is more common to be seen. However, the present landscape environment is relatively poor in residence districts. For example, the entrance space is short of identity, the square space is quite monotonous, as well as the road is quite often to be occupied. The reason for these problems is the lack of the consideration for aged at the beginning of the design of residence districts, and lack of the relevant policy and regulation.This dissertation will explore the landscape environment for the aged based on the old people’s physiology, psychology, behavior and social characteristics. The theory research will be used to analyze the special behavior of aged-population, and social investigation will be conducted in four typical residence districts to conclude the common issue related to landscape environment. On the basis of these work, the dissertation will give the idea and regeneration strategy of landscape environment for aged-population.This dissertation has done a comprehensive theory analysis and field work, and proposed a systematic idea and regeneration strategy of landscape environment for aged-population, which could be helpful for the guidelines of landscape environment for aged-population. Meanwhile, it could provide the reference for the landscape environment regeneration and enhance the environment vitality.
