Due to the characteristics of large capacity, low cost and low energy consumption, water transportation has become one of the main ways for dangerous goods’ transportation. As golden waterway, dangerous goods transport in the Yangtze River grew by leaps and bounds, the security risks and environmental pollution problems are increasingly prominent. Therefore, this paper concentrates on studying the risk assessment of dangerous goods transportation in the Yangtze River.Firstly, POM and Flowcoast models were introduced in this paper. These models were used to study and solve the dangerous goods’ pollutants convection diffusion equation, and acquire the distribution law of the pollutants, and several leakage accidents in the Yangtze River were simulated in the paper. Secondly, method of mathematical statistics was used in this paper to analyze and predict the risk value. Finally, the risk value of dangerous goods transportation in the Yangtze River was assessed by risk matrix.In this paper, a risk assessment method for dangerous goods transportation in the Yangtze River was obtained, and the environmental sensitive area was introduced into the risk assessment. The results of the assessment were effectively shown by sketch map, making the risk value visualization. |
