Study On The Information Construction Of Shandong Maritime Safety Service In The Context Of Big Data

In May 2011, McKinsey Global Institute released the report:"The next frontier for innovation, competition and productivity" pointing out that the "big data" contains enormous value. Microsoft research began to use big data analysis to find the unknown rules, the human society entered the new era of "big data". Compared with the boom of "big data" in civilian lives, maritime safety agencies awareness and practice in big data usage is relatively slow and absent in research into its core technology. For the time being, make a further study of the connotation and core technology of big data and explore a data-driven maritime management decisions have very strong practical significance.In this paper, I will provide an in depth analysis of what we called "big data" and its features based on our target with the information system construction of Shandong maritime safety administration. By summarize the common problem and short-coming from existing information system of Shandong maritime safety administration, I put forward the architecture design of information system based on "big data", which will concentrate the valuable data resource and provide excellent data analysis and decision-making analysis.The main concept in this paper consists five chapters:The first chapter is an introductionary analysis in its research background, significance and various methods in the research process. The second chapter focuses on the concept of "big data", informatization, "cloud computing" more in depth and analyzed the relationship between them. The third chapter focuses on Shandong maritime safety administration’s information technology development status with a particular focus on the problems in current work. The fourth chapter introduced the overall design of information system of Shandong maritime safety administration. The last chapter verified the overall design by partially realized the function of the system.
