Research On The Application Of Chinese Characters In The Landscape Architecture Construction

Chinese characters is the foundation of Chinese civilization. As part of Chinese culture, landscape architecture is influenced by Chinese characters directly or indirectly in many ways. Chinese characters plays an irreplaceable role in the construction of landscape architecture.This thesis is a cross research field, including landscape architecture and Chinese language and philology. With the topic of "Research on the application of Chinese characters in the Landscape Architecture construction" to provide a new perspective for the research and construction of landscape architecture in china. The study focused on three areas: modes of thinking, landscape elements, artistic conception and reached the following conclusions:First of all, Chinese characters and landscape architecture has a common origin, the traditional view of nature and the aesthetic characteristics make both of their form and structure run in the same groove which becomes an important factor of Chinese characters into landscape architecture.Secondly, the way of thinking of Chinese characters constructed the inherent and deep structure of landscape architecture. As a landscape element, Chinese characters make itself graphical and combined with graphics or use one of the traditional culture and eventually use material to performance is the methods of constructing landscape architecture. In addition, Chinese character can divide space, increase the sense of place and sense of the field in landscape architecture, at the same time also is the main means to create artistic conception.Finally, the design concept of "Chinese characters tree" and the theme of Chinese characters park are proved to be able to alleviate the current landscape construction which facing cultural aphasia and landscape homogeneity problem in practice.
