The paper takes the plant landscape of Greentown as the research object, and based on the field survey, it combs the development history, development concept. It summarizes features of the Greentown mode and gives a concept definition: The values in the process of real estate development and the unified process and the pattern of product.Through a number of residential areas’ investigation, and the selected six typical cases, the paper summarizes the current situation of plant landscape from various types and plants use. And combined with a questionnaire survey and interviews, it also summarizes the current situation of the use of plant landscape from the use of population composition,the outdoor activities and satisfaction. At the same time,19 kinds of planting design mode were summarized from 5 types of green landscape.Based on the above analysis, the characteristics of the Greentown plant landscape model are: 1. the attitude of pursuit of quality of plant landscape in close combination with the enterprise culture idea; 2. combined with product development, it focus on the deduction of plants named in resident area where the pattern of the same type or the same series of products of the plant landscape can be copied.Finally, the paper extracts the directive factor such as the design concept,self growth, product design and later service from the planting design of the Greentown, which is useful for the domestic planting design, and strives to contribute to the sustainable development of residential landscape.
