The development of technology and the process of urbanization have promoted the development and construction of urban green space in Hangzhou.Residential green space is an important part of the urban green space system,and the plant landscape plays an important role in the residential green space.This study aims to study the plant landscape of the residential green space from the perspective of plant density,analyze the application of plant species and plant density in residential green place with different years of completion,and explore the suitable density range of landscape plants in residential green space.At the same time,it is suggested to give suggestions on the design,management and regulation of planting density of plants in residential green space,and provide reference for the construction and sustainable development of plant landscape in residential green space.In this paper,the residential areas are divided into four types: residential areas within 3years of completion,residential areas of 3-10 years of completion,residential areas of 10 to 20 years of completion,and residential areas completed for more than 20 years.Each type Choose3 to 4 residential areas and select 13 representative residential areas.According to different functional types,the plant community is divided into the plant communities next to the house,the plant communities in green open space,the plant communities in center green open space and the plant communities in roadside green space.The planting density of various types of plants in different ages was measured from three aspects: horizontal density,vertical density and three-dimensional density.Plants are classified into A layer(6m or more),B layer(3-6m),C layer(1-3m),and D layer(1m or less)according to their height,and the horizontal density is calculated for each plant of different levels.The main research results are as follows:1)A total of 174 species of garden plants were recorded in 13 residential areas,belonging to 74 families and 130 genera.In the residential areas where the work has been completed for more than 20 years,the number of plant species is less than 30,and in the residential areas completed in the past 20 years,there are almost 50 kinds of green plant species,and more than100 species can be found.The level of application of plant species is constantly increasing.2)The plant density in Hangzhou residential area shows an upward trend with the increase of the number of completing years.When the plant grows for a certain period of time,without artificial intervention,the plant community will produce the survival of the fittest due to individual competition,causing plant loss and plant density to a certain extent.Changes in plant density are influenced by a variety of factors,including the selection and application of plant materials in the early stages of residential construction,plant growth,and other natural and human factors.Among them,the growth of plants themselves is the most direct factor affecting the change of plant density.3)High-quality green space and plant landscapes,there are appropriate plant density ranges: when the average horizontal density of the A-layer plants is between 1.3-1.47,the average horizontal density of the B-layer plants is between 1.35-1.5,and the average of the C-layer plants.The horizontal density ranges from 0.9 to 1.0,the average horizontal density of the D-layer plants ranges from 1.4 to 1.6,the vertical density ranges from 69% to 72%,and the three-dimensional density ranges from 55% to 60%.The density perception is not too dense or too sparse.At this time,the plant landscape in the residential area is relatively better.The planting density of plants in residential areas should reserve sufficient growth space for the growth of plants,so that the plant landscape in residential areas can develop stably and sustainably for a long time.4)It)s a long and continuous process that creating plant landscapes in residential areas.The arbor will reach a relatively good growth state after 3 years of transplantation,while the recovery period of the shrub is shorter.In the past 20 years,the planting density of greenland plants in Hangzhou residential areas has gradually increased,and the frequency of large tree transplants has gradually increased.The author summarizes the causes of this phenomenon,mainly including:(1)Real estate developers are quick on plants.The urgent appeal of Chengjing;(2)the lack of awareness of plant materials by garden designers;(3)the excessive emphasis on economic interests by construction implementers.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions on the regulation of plant density in Hangzhou residential area:(1)the previous plant planting design follows the relevant principles;(2)the medium-term plant conservation management should be timely and efficient;(3)the later density regulation guarantees the sustainable landscape.
