| The economy of the western-china has larger development in recent years, but due to special geographical environment of plateau area, make the highway transportation is still the main mode of transportation in plateau area. Low oxygen is one of the main characteristics of the plateau region, with the increase of altitude hypoxia degree deepens, and the most parts of plateau highway through where there earth’s surface by bare only sporadic vegetation, that makes the road landscape monotonous. Drivi ng in plateau drivers will not only affected by the road alignment, but also by the plateau low oxygen, dry radiation, such as the interference of the natural environment, plateau environment is easy to make the driver driving fatigue. Driver fatigue can be reflected by the drivers’ psychological and physiological changes, through analysis the psychological and physiological indexes of drivers’ in the process of driving can get driving fatigue formation law and the appearance time of driving fatigue. In this paper, the problem of driving fatigue under the plateau environment is studied by combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis method from the perspective of man-machine engineering and traffic psychology. Through investigation into the subjective feeling and static detection of driver’s psychological and physiological indexes to know the plateau highway pilot group characteristics and the main factors which affect the driving fatigue, and through the field drive test to analyze the factors w hich cause driving fatigue.Data analysis shows that the index of HRV in LF and LF/HF have strong correlation with driving time and elevation, can be used as a driver fatigue detection and evaluation index in plateau section. With LF/HF as evaluation index of driving fatigue use the SPSS set up the relational model of LF/HF with elevation and driving time, the analysis results show that the driving fatigue is affected by the dual driving time and elevation, as well as the higher of the elevation and the longer of the driving time the deeper degree of driving fatigue will be. LF/HF paired T test results show that the higher elevation in plateau region are more likely to make drivers appear driving fatigue, Under the combination of driving time and elevation, upward process continuous driving about 70 minutes appear driving fatigue, descending process continuous driving about 110 minutes appear driving fatigue; the time of driving fatigue’s appears earlier than the highway in plain area’s suggested continuous driving time 3.5 hours, reflects that the plateau low oxygen environment will accelerate the emergence of driver’s driving fatigue. |
