Along with the development of urbanization in our country, underground space in urban areas has been further developed and utilized. Meanwhile, safety accidents have been occurring one after another which not only inflict enormous economic losses, but also cause casualties. Although high rates of accidents are affected by uncontrollable factors such as the deficiency of the construction conditions, complexity and limitation of knowledge in geotechnical engineering, the prime reason of accidents is caused by the poor field management. Therefore, to carry out effective excavation risk managements has become an important subject that needs urgent solution.This article systematically analyses related literature of excavation risk management in, and the dynamic management is proposed to pay attention to excavation risks in order to reduce the accident losses. The whole process risk management is supposed to be a process of dynamic state. However, the implementation of dynamic management mainly needs to solve two problems:Firstly, which kind of organization mode should be used to implement dynamic management; secondly, which approach to stimulate risk management from static to dynamic should be employed.Partnering which is a kind model of dynamic collective decision-making organization, is utilized to handle the risks, arisen from every aspects and participants involved in excavation projects including clients, contractors, surveying, designing and supervisors. When the risk management committee as the decision-making body, the risk management team for the administrative institutions, cooperation principals as the risk coordinator, the project partners for the specific implementation of risk control, all those parties work together to balance different interests and to build a cooperation relationship among all participants by establishing a dynamic management of risk-sharing mechanism, eliminate conflicts of interest, and create a win-win situation among different interests.In addition, base on the application of alarm value management, this article studies on the alarm indicator that is related to risk pre-warning system including indicators such as duration and frequencies detected by alarm value, alarm value varied in total range, unit variation of alarm value. What is more, it is introduced that the risk-triggered management is a dynamic management concept of circulation. Pre-warning system against risk should be implemented in process of control where the risks lead to trouble in order to guarantee the excavation safety. By forming new experiences that resulting from summary of risk resolution procedures, it will be capable of handing next risks that cycle repeat and thus, a risk dynamic management is formed. Therefore, trigger method is the driving force for keeping risk management moving forward.Based on the theoretical basis mentioned above, this paper designs implementation scheme of excavation risk dynamic management, and make empirical explorations and researches refer to a deep excavation project of RARM hospital. According to the analysis of specific projects, methods and resolutions summarized of risk dynamic management is beneficial to catch the key points in the process of excavation risk management, improving efficiency, and minimizing excavation risks.
