With the rapid development of China’s economy, the proportion of natural gas inthe energy sector is increasing. In many industries natural gas have graduallyreplaced the oil and gas, coal and other traditional energy sources that has become anew energy development in today’s society. Natural gas is a clean energy, lowpollution, high degree of environmental protection, high utilization, have occupied adominant position in many industries. At the same time a variety of gas-relatedaccidents have occurred and brought very big risks to the lives and property of thepeople. Natural gas accidents with a risk of explosion and fire are not easy to controland difficult to carry out effective emergency rescue work. City gas accidents isbecause of natural gas pipeline’s problem and some buried underground, a variety ofline pipe complicated, but not easy to check the monitor, so to take effectivemeasures for security management, prevention, risk science analysis and riskassessment of hazards of urban gas pipeline for processing, to prevent a possiblemaximum of life and property safety of urban gas pipeline leaks, explosions, fires,the greatest degree of protection of the people.This paper describes the development of city gas for a simple introduction. Thenthe city gas pipeline safety problems were analyzed, described the accident as well asthe risks and risk management features of the natural gas pipeline accidents. Thestudy of the pipeline safety evaluation techniques finally through qualitative faulttree analysis and semi-quantitative evaluation of gray model of urban gas pipelineaccidents were evaluated and safety risk analysis, the final results of the appropriatesafety precautions and data analysis conclusion, improve the safety of the city gaspipeline. Based on the above theoretical analysis, based on the urban gas pipeline asthe research object, using the theory of accident tree analysis and GM (1,1) modelanalysis, this paper studies to prevention, evaluation of urban gas pipeline accidentsprovides an efficient, modern data, can be more efficient and intuitive, comprehensive management of city gas pipeline related attribute information, and insudden accident emergency rescue command action of rapid response and timelyrescue.
