The Development Design On The Control System Of Cantilever-type Bucket Wheel Stacker And Reclaimer Based On PLC

Cantilever-type bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer is a large bulk material handling equipment, widely used in ports, power plants, coking plants and other large industries. With economic development, the modern industry for bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer control systems are increasingly high requirements. According to the scene of the equipment requirements, a highly reliable cantilevered bucket wheel stacker reclaimer electrical control system is designed in this paper.This paper analyzes the cantilevered bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer developments, describes the stacker-reclaimer process and major institutions,and gives a PLC-based control system design.Based on the parameters and process of the stacker and reclaimer,driving principle and control mode of each institution is designed and studied in this paper. For different control mode of each institution, selection work of critical electrical equipment and components is completed. Meanwhile, this system is designed with a more complete protection system, equipped with multi-level limit switch protection in key positions, and applicated of encoders and RFID technology to ensure safe operation. Network communication of this control system is achieved via PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus and Ethernet technology. This control system uses dual CPU redundancy technology, and is designed by PLC programs. By program control, the equipment achieves a reliable, stable operation, and the productivity of the equipment is improved.
