Abstract/Summary:
With the continuing drop in the cost of FRP material and the merits of light-weight,high strength, easily installation, the fiber reinforced composite materials are widelyused in civil engineering. With the development of computer technology, the finiteelement theory becomes mature. The paper adopted the finite element method as a tool.Several influencing factor of carbon fiber reinforced concrete column was analyzed byusing the ANSYS analysis software. A more detailed studies were introduced in theapplication of carbon fiber reinforced concrete structure column, to provide theoreticalreference for structure of carbon fiber reinforced column.The main work is as follows:(1)Through ANSYS finite element analysis software,9carbon fiber reinforced axialconcrete column and3unconfined concrete column were compared. According to thechange of the bearing capacity of the specimens and different parameters, carbon pasteform, long column and short column, the fiber strain distribution of cylindrical andsquare column were analyzed. The different reinforcement conditions of reinforcementmethods were also discussed.(2)Through the numerical simulation analysis of the10columns which eccentricityis0.5h under different reinforcement forms, the load-carrying capacity and ductility ofpasting CFRP eccentric loading columns was explored. The influence of confinedcarbon fiber cloth on the column ductility and failure mode were also analyzed. Thedifferent ways of paste and the influence of different strength of concrete on thereinforcement effect were compared. The analysis results show that the large eccentriccompression column after pasting CFRP longitudinally, load-carrying capacity andflexural stiffness of the eccentric columns had a certain degree of increase; Thereinforcement effect of lateral mixing pasting of the large eccentric columnreinforcement effect is more significant; When concrete strength is too low, it is notsuitable for strengthening with carbon fiber cloth paste. This paper also studied thepasting layers of pasting effect.
