Research On Design Of Independent Architecture In The Grazing Areas Of Inner Mongolia

Small and independent residential building design used for herders in Inner Mongolia will be an important part in future life. In recent years, more and more small residential buildings in pastoral areas appeared in Inner Mongolia, However, due to the characteristics that the residential building in pastoral area is responsive to cold region climate type, and for different providers, pastoral area houses appeared more types and structure, especially for the limitations caused by the seasonal climate, pastoral residential applications has more limits.With the change of lifestyle, the typical traditional living form-the Mongolian yurts in pastoral areas of Inner Mongolia has gradually been forgotten. Instead, Ordinary houses which has a large number and their regional culture characteristics is not obvious or mobile cars are more and more popular, such homes has bigger advantage in meeting the demand of people’s life,but the problem of monotony, homogeneity and no personality brought by design and construction methods that has caused people to rethink. In recent years, self-supporting green building becomes an important issue in the field of architecture, the architects invested a great deal of enthusiasm on low carbon buildings, sustainability and environmental friendly construction. This study is based on the special cultural background of Inner Mongolia, combining with traditional yurt construction mode, and discussed the sustainability issue for residential buildings.Its significance lies in:on the one hand, explore the traditional mode of ger to build modern deductive method; On the other hand, is also on the adaptability of traditional residential pattern of subject thinking. Its has a great of significance, on the one hand, it is to explore the way of the modern expression on construction of the traditional yurts model.on the other hand, it is one way of thinking about the adaptability of traditional living patterns.The results of research can provide a reference for a small house standing on green design methods; the design which can provide a scientific basis for the pastoral housing on the theory and practice, while providing an objective reference for the development of relevant policies in some areas.
