Production workshop equipment layout design is an important part of system planningin manufacturing. Facility layout has a great influence on the materialshandling, production system capacity, production efficiency, the completion ofthe equipment re layout not only affects the production task in the process ofproduction, but also spend a high cost, so the new factory workshop equipment layoutplanning and design of a very important.Special vehicle’s particularity determines its manufacturing particularity, and specialvehicle belongs to a single piece of many varieties of small batch production type. As thetooth gear system suppliers of automobile gear manufacturing, how to efficiently providecustomers with the tooth gear system of gear driving that special car uses is the keyproblem that we solved.The thesis takes Chongqing machine tool (Group) Co. Ltd based partsprocessing workshop (machining first branch) as the main research object, according to thecharacteristics of multi varieties and small batch manufacturing workshop, conducts theresearch to the workshop equipment layout, the main work is as follows:1） Through the consult massive literature, has carried on the thorough analysis on thecurrent research, equipment layout, basic theory and method of the layout of theworkshop are summarized, a detailed analysis of the characteristics of multi varietiesand small batch production mode, and the characteristics of this mode ofproduction workshop equipment layout of workshop, the internal parts logistics isanalyzed, put forward the layout target multi varieties and small batchproduction mode equipment.2） In the box parts machining technology of gear manufacturing machine tools as thebasis, a detailed analysis of the processing characteristics of box type parts, typical processflow, and some key parts (lathe bed, column, skateboard, hob cutter box etc.) processof innovation, in order to reduce material handling, shorten production cycle, reduce thecost of production. 3）The theory of multi varieties and small batch production mode and equipment layoutof workshop based on planning, Chongqing machine tool (Group) Co. Ltd. Newrequirements for equipment layout planning plant base parts processingfactory, research route and content of the workshop logistics logistics, combined withtechnological innovation plan, the workshop equipment layout planning of design, andputs forward the optimal scheme of the workshop equipment layout, for new plantconstruction reference.
