Earth Towers Of Fujian Hakka And Public Residential Communication Space Of The Comparative Study

Residential area as a carrier of the space in the life of urban residents is organized withlots of community space. And the urban community interaction space is an important partof the community space, which space used as social activities space for residents inresidential area and used as a carrier of the space of cultural life for residents. From theprocess of development of the living condition in China, we can see that, the increasingdemand of community association space should be supplied for city residents.Sicheng Liang said that “to plan a building of the city should consider the traditionalhistory and tradition of the construction, and preserve which characteristics is reasonable,historical value, from past experience." Hakka Earth Building has in common with modernmodular residential area in the living form and living scale. Therefore, we through thestudy on the type and lifestyle of Hakka Earthen Buildings combined with the researchmethods of typology, trying to explore a suitable living environment of modern residentialarea as a "link" from the Hakka architecture. And it can make up the neglect on theenvironmental psychology in the modern residential design.The dissertations can be divided into three steps: to discover the problem; to analyzethe problem and to solve the problem. In the first step, the author will illustrate thebackground and significance of the research subject, provide the methodology andframework of the dissertation and introduce the research subject and innovation of thispaper. In the second step, the relationship between the community space of the Hakka EarthBuilding and the community space of modern residential area will be organized andintegrated through theoretical analysis and case study. In the third step, this paper providesthe suggestion which is helpful to solve the problem about the modern urban communityspace for existing condition.
