The constitution of residential buildings and the emergence and development of residential settlements is inseparable from human activities and the family forms of interpersonal relationships.Human activities, behaviors and requirements which elaborated in Environment-behavior studies have an indivisible connection with the living patterns and living customs, the pattern of living space, the form of building space, the settlement patterns, the cultural identity of the building, and the Habitation characteristics of Fujian Hakka earth buildings.Fujian Hakka earth buildings is largely a product of integration with the site and the natural environment.Various forms of Fujian Hakka earth buildings is located in the village among the mountains, becoming a Complementary of the surrounding environment. The settlement itself formed part of the landscape area, reflecting the harmonious coexistence between the relationship of man and nature. Geographical landscape is sacred as well as human residences. The environmental landscape integrated by them has affect the entire life of Fujian Hakka.This paper is based on the perspective of environmental behavior to explain the settlement patterns of Fujian Hakka Earthen buildings.The study focus on the architectural forms and settlement characteristics of Fujian Hakka Earthen buildings to analysis the activities of people and human behaviors,in order to research the architectural forms, geographical landscape structures, Settlement morphologys and Environmental and ecological characteristics of Fujian Hakka earth buildings.And on the basis of the investigation and analysis of the Fujian Hakka earth buildings and settlements’formations and characteristics,to explore the formation and development of Fujian Hakka Earthen architectures and settlements from the view of Hakka Family’s social patterns and settlement forms.It have some practical significance on the protections and promotations of Fujian Hakka Earthen buildings. It can also give references to the creation and updating of modern architectural forms and the construction of modern city’s spatial distributions. |
