This article treat taxi as a floating car, first introduced the background and the currentdevelopment of domestic and foreign of urban traffic status discrimination method base onthe floating car. There goes on to list some of the floating car data processing method. Iapproach based on CAN bus is given in the detailed design section, It is part of the focus ofthe article. This article describes the decision-making throughout the design process. Finally, list the decision algorithm of the core code and application examples, and determine thelevel of congestion. This article discusses the city traffic state decision-making system design based onbody CAN bus. Exclusion of the shortcomings of the past based on the GPS system errorcaused due to weather or other reasons. The decision-making system is divided into fourparts: GPS positioning and map matching module, data preprocessing module, congestionlevel determination module, messaging module. GPS positioning and map matchingmodule is mainly responsible to locate the vehicle at the same time match the road onelectronic map; data preprocessing module main function is responsible to exclusion due tothe taxi driving characteristics caused by invalid data points, and calculate the averagetravel of the taxi speed, the congestion level determination module provides the data input,is the most critical part of the entire decision-making system; The congestion leveldetermination module is responsible for compare the average travel speed with theestablished level of congestion division, to determine the congestion level; Theinformation transmitting module is responsible for send the congestion level to the trafficcontrol center.By detecting various information of CAN bus to realize the identification of roadcongestion state, it has important academic significance for automatic judgment method ofrich traffic state. Because the data collection based on the exclusion of CAN bus is moreprecise than data acquisition based on GPS. It has important practical significance on theimproved precision, the low cost, easy popularization. From the angle of traffic management, the design of automatic identification systembased on road traffic status can quickly find the traffic bottleneck position, easy to seize the favorable opportunity to solve the traffic bottleneck, and avoid the influence of badtraffic condition to further expand and deepen. Thus, it can improve the efficiency of trafficmanagement, and the traffic management state has very important practicalsignificance. From the angle of traffic participants, when they received the relevantinformation of traffic congestion, it can reformulate the travel plan, changethe itinerary, avoid into congested areas to save travel time, and reduce travel costs andother aspects. This paper is organized as follows:The first chapter is introduction. It simply introduces main work background, historyand current situation of research at home and abroad, and research significance of the thesis. The second chapter describes the data processing method of floating car. This paperintroduces several GPS system of floating car data invalid elimination method based on thepoints, and several road congestion estimation methods and a brief analysis. In the thirdchapter, the overall system design decision part is described. For a description of theoverall framework of the system, at the same time to contact the variousfunctional modules are introduced and inter module of the system. In the fourth chapter, thesystem detailed design part is described. Detailed description of the process system ofroad segments and map matching algorithm is presented. It is used to eliminate invalidinformation data points of CAN bus, and the method for calculating the average travelspeed of the division based on road congestion level is presented finally. In the fifthchapter, simulation and examples are presented, the article cited the core algorithm, andapplies the algorithm for listed processing of real data. Finally the average travel speed iscalculated, and to determine the level of congestion. In the sixth chapter, the full textof the summary of the work is presented.
