The pre-fragments warhead detonation is a very complex physical and chemical changeprocess. Uses the theoretical analysis the method is difficult,if through experimental method,not only the design cycle is long,moreover the cost is high. At present,along with thedevelopment of the computer technology,numerical simulation into warhead designbecome an important mean. Therefore, this paper will use the numerical simulationmethod for numerical simulation of warhead.In this paper, using the finite element analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA of differentshapes, different materials for numerical simulation of warhead. Through the post processingsoftware of different fragments in the explosive dispersion under the action and the velocitycurve, comparative analysis the different shapes, different materials and prefabricatedfragment velocity and moving direction.Combined with the theoretical verification andcomparison with experiment, proved the rationality of the numerical simulation. Andthen, the fragment in the air velocity attenuation are calculated, and then the speed as theinitial velocity of fragment penetrating target, Thus the numerical simulation of damageeffect of different fragments of the target plate, The advantages and disadvantages of theanalysis of simulation results shows that the different shapes of prefabricated fragment, Forthe future production and preformed fragment improvement provides a certain basis.
