In this paper, the method of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation was used tostudy on the fragment gain technology of eccentric initiation warhead. The effect of grooveway, initiation way and initiation device on characteristics of fragments scattered was studiedfurther. The best design of eccentric initiation warhead was found out, thus the effective controlof fragments scattered was achieve and the theory of fragments distribution on eccentric singlepoint initiation was modified. The study results have provided a reference for the design ofeccentric initiation warhead.Firstly, the model of solid charge cylindrical warhead was established. According to thesimulation results of the three different types of fragment warhead, the different Gurneycorrection factor respectively for preformed fragments, semi-preformed fragments and naturalfragments was puts forward, thus provided a certain reference to engineering calculation. Forpreformed fragment warhead model, the influence of groove way and groove parameters oncharacteristics of fragment scattered were simulated largely. the rule of fragment producing anddistributing on the four different ways were analyzed, which include V-notches on the innersurface, rectangle-notches on the inner surface, V-notches on the outer surface andrectangle-notches on the outer surface, and V-notches on the inner surface was proved to be thebest fragments groove way. Based on the above research, the influence of groove parametersthat V-notches on the inner surface on the fragment lethality were studied, thus the best designstructure of fragments was obtain.Secondly, the maximum and minimum of fragment velocity were calculated by using thedeformation and rupture of rigid-plastic cylinder shell due to explosion, on this basis, thedistribution theory of fragment velocity along the radial angular was established, on this basis,the establishment of a broken piece of the radial velocity distribution of the theoretical model,and simulation verification. The results show that the error of fragment velocity betweentheoretical value and the simulation value was less than2%, the calculation method canaccurately predict the fragment velocity of eccentric initiation warhead. Based on the abovedesigned warhead, then the detonation process and fragments directional flying of theeccentric initiation warhead were simulated by using Autodyn-3D.The influence of differentinitiation ways on fragments scattered was analyzed. The results show that double lines600initiation is the best way.Thirdly, based on the above model to join initiation device. According to the central tube of different materials and size, propagation of detonation waves and the process of fragmentdrove were simulated. The control action of initiation device on detonation wave shape anddirection was analyzed, and provides a basis for the design of initiation device.In this paper, parameters of warhead design were comprehensively analyzed, obtained theoptimal design of structure of warhead, and provide reference for engineering design ofwarhead. |
