| Warm mix asphalt regeneration technology is a new type of waste asphalt recycling technology. It combines the advantages of both hot asphalt recycling technology and warm mix technology. It effectively reduces the temperature and paving mixture mixing temperature through adding agents in the regeneration warm mixing asphalt mixture mainly, effectively saving energy and reducing emissions of poisonous gases, which can also reduce the secondary asphalt aging and improve asphalt pavement performance. At home and abroad, common warm mix asphalt preparation method has the following four categories:(1) Aspha-Min (2) WAM-Foam (3) Sasobit (4) EWMA.Firstly, the mixing sampling of waste recycled asphalt mixture in Dalian Ganjingzi station was extracted. Then we test the asphalt aging degree by three indicators test. And we tried to recycle aging asphalt by adding bitumen and new regeneration agents.We test the Brookfield viscosity of asphalt, recycled asphalt and warm mix asphalt by Brandt rotary viscometer test and obtained plotted-temperature curve with data to get estimates of mixing temperatures and molding temperature.Then we test and evaluated the low temperature performance of respectively asphalt, aging asphalt, recycled asphalt and warm mix asphalt in-6℃,-12℃,-18℃temperature with bending beam remoter (BBR).We designed asphalt mixture ratio in special old material blending ratio after analyzing the regeneration mechanism of asphalt mixture and find the best asphalt mixture ratio by Marshall Method.Finally, we test the mechanical properties with Marshall Stability test and test high temperature performance with rutting test and test resistance to water damage performance with water stability test according to mixing temperature and compaction temperature of hot mix asphalt, warm mix of renewable hot mix asphalt and recycled asphalt mixture.The results show that the mechanical properties and water stability of Warm mix asphalt mixture is slightly worse than the hot mix recycled asphalt mixture under the same mixing conditions. This shows that although adding warm mix agent can reduce the mixing temperature and save energy, however, it reduces its road performance in some extent. |
