Abstract/Summary:
Shipbuilding industry has been making great progress, planning management has defined itself as a crutial perspect in shipbuilding. Properly-made plans guide the process of production, decrease uncertain factors and enhance the usage of the bottle neck resource. So the plans determine the competition of shipbuilding corporations.Within the a-century development of Project management, a great deal of Project management techniques are applied in shipbuilding industry. Based on the planning management system of DSIC, this essey applies the Critical Chain Project Management to the planning management in shipyard, inducing bottle neck resource to make production planning more pratical.Firstly, the essey analyzed the problems in Planning management in DSIC and applies CCPM into Planning management in shipyards, with the theory "the resource is limited"Secondly, the essey improved traditional root square error method by adding a quotient to determine the size of buffer. As a result, PB and FB are more properly settled, and CCPM is more properly adapted to ship production.Moreover, deck production is of importance for a container ship, while this article applies CCPM into the deck production planning of a CS4300. By comparing with the traditional planning method, it turns out that CCPM stands out in balancing resource-use-ratio and decreasing the project time. Therefore, CCPM is appropriate to the deck production planning of a container ship.
