The successful packaging design is not only with the good appearance itself, but alsoa good opportunity to build a brand image, improve the reputation for a company andbrand and promote the sustainable development of brand building. The relationshipbetween packaging design and brand building is explained from the aspects of products,consumers and the companies. Based on the case study on the visual language, ergonomicsand environmental protection in packaging design, this essay presents the influence thatpackaging design made to the brand building. The harmonious color, beautiful shape of thetexts and the factors of graphic language make the brand more glamorous. Obeying theprinciple of environmental protection and people orientation, the packaging design shouldnot only meet the basic functional requirements but also deduct the resources waste,improve the additional value for the products and brands and build the leading brand withcreation. Packaging design is the important factor in the sustainable brand building. Infuture packaging design, the harmonious relationship between products, environment andusers will help the humans keep the nature green.
