With the development of Sichuan Hydropower, inevitably a lot of tower built inthe slope foundation. For the tower foundation pile design, proportional coefficient m–value rock and soil resistance factor foundation value is an important parameter. Thevalue of the m-value as the main source of semi infinite body of accumulated data,and on the slope foundation pile m-value research. Combined with practicalengineering, the physical simulation and numerical simulation, the slope offoundation piles under the action of horizontal load, the value of displacement of pile,pile, pile of earth pressure and m, obtain the following conclusions.(1) Through physical simulation that as the load increases,the displacement ofpile top increases continuously,and the concave curve rising. In front of thepile soilpressure with depth first increased and then decreased, the m-value with the increaseof load decreases, finally tends to converge.(2) According to the physical simulation was obtained at0°and15°slopefoundation pile inflection point above the soil m-value decreases with increasingdepth;30°and45°slope foundation pile inflection point above the soil m-valueincreases with increasing depth.(3) Physical simulation in changing the slope condition,the m-value decreaseswith increasing slope, The gradient of0°, the m-value is19.282MN/m4, slope of45°m-value is11.183MN/m4, The m-value decreases with increasing slope ratio between10%~20%.(4) Simulation in changing the conditions of pile diameter through the numerical,obtains the m-value increases with the increase of pile diameter increases, obtains them-value increases with the increase of pile length.(5) By changing the pile diameter and length can be obtained,pile diameter, pilelength increased with increasing ratio of the m-value larger.(6) When the foundation type upper gravelly soil layer are strongly weatheredbedrock, Numerical simulation is carried out in the change the embedding pileembedded depth to bedrock,the pile embedded depth to bedrock increases withm-value increases. And the same in the embedding depth to bedrock conditions,them-value decreases linearly with the increase of the slope.
