With the development of avionics systems, the increase in data transmission requires a high bandwidth bus. Traditional MIL-STD-1553B bus technology cannot meet the communication requirements among electronic equipments. The new bus technology FC-AE-1553has higher transmission bandwidth and flexible topology structure, and can support more terminal access. It will be the next generation avionics system bus technology.This paper firstly did a detail analyze of FC-AE-1553command frame, statu frame and data frame, introduced the usage scenarios of7NC sequence and7NT sequence; analyzed the data exchange process of NC-to-NT mode, NT-to-NC mode and NT-to-NT mode, then completed the simulation of NT on FC-AE-1553protocol using NS2simulation software. This paper mainly did the following work:(1) Analyzed four kinds of commonly used buffer allocation strategy based on Credit flow control strategy and an improved strategy.(2) Used node state machine model control data exchange of FC-AE-1553NT, defined the different NT state, using the state migration describe date exchange flow.(3) Simulated the FC-AE-1553NT with NS2simulation software. Define a new packet header and create the FC-AE-1553protocol simulation agent FCAE1553Agent. Parsed the control fields in the packet and regard them as a condition of NT node state transition; simulated the NT sending and receiving process; applied the flow control strategy which based on Credit in NT sending and receiving module; completed the simulation analysis under different network configuration by programing OTcl script.
