Modern aerospace electronic systems for bus network speed and bandwidth have become increasingly demanding. In the 1970 s, the United States raised the military standard MIL-STD-1553 B bus transmission rate in the number of terminals and support have bottlenecks. Meanwhile, FC(Fiber Channel, FC) technology has been rapid development, its high transfer rate, high bandwidth and high reliability, etc. to meet the high performance requirements of aerospace electronic systems for data bus. FC-AE-1553 protocol is in this context organized by the Fibre Channel standard avionics sub-committee proposed, which uses fiber channel as the underlying transport network, the upper mapping MIL-STD-1553 B bus protocol. FC-AE-1553 not only inherits the traditional strengths of MIL-STD-1553 B bus, but also to achieve a fiber channel low latency, high bandwidth and high reliability characteristics. In addition, FC-AE-1553 also has support for multiple transmission rates and support for large data transfers and so on.Firstly, the technical background and academic value and significance of the FC-AE-1553 were introduced the system.
