With the increasingly deve lopment of hardware and software in electronic technique field,especially in micro electronic technique field, to improve the bus technology is a matter of great urgency. MIL-STD-1553 b bus standard was put forward by the U.S. military in 1970 s,used for communication between the airborne electronic equipment, but with the progress of network technology in many ways, it cannot satisfy the needs and requirements of the present communication. As the increasingly improvement of the network technology,under the background of the need of wider bandwidth, low- latency and low bit error rate in modern communication field,the FC-AE-1553 standard was raised,which compatible with MIL-STD-1553 B system.FC-AE-1553 protocol is raised by the ANSI FC-AE standard committee,Which is based on MIL-STD-1553 B.Aiming at problems of the strong interference of the space environment and the isolation of the equipments working in the spacecraft, we need choice appropriate real-time error control code in order to get low code error ratio in the process of the communication.Some MIL-STD-1553 B equipments are kept here because of historical and technical reasons. Significant further research is necessary on FC-AE-1553 Network to MIL-STD-1553 Bus Bridge.In this paper,we analyse the structure, message business of the FC-AE-1553 and MIL-STD-1553 B protocol especially on FC-AE-1553 protocol and the implementation of the FC-AE-1553 bridging technology. After that, we propose a prototype of the FC-AE-1553 node and bridge, which can be implemented. The entire program is divided into software, FPGA logic and A peripheral interface to the hardware.After that, I do some research of error control technology based on the hardware implementation,and,choose the implementation scheme which occupy less resources and easier to implement — Selective automatic retransmission request technology.After the implementation, we network to verify the nodes in the form of direct functionality and performance in a variety of data interaction mode of function and performance. Verify the function of MIL-STD-1553 B bridge module in the modelsim platform. Verify the function and performance of the hardware retransmission module, by using fault insertion card which can inject data with CRC error.
