Research On Planning And Design Of Gongjuchang Affordable Housing In Beijing

While the urbanization of China enter a high-speed development period, the pressure oncity housing supply system become more enormous. In view of the huge gap between the lowincome of citizen and the high price of housing, indemnificatory housing system, as aimportant part of the housing supply system of China, is extremely to the urbanization ofChina and the stabilization of society and economic. However, there is less research andtheory on planning and design of affordable housing (the part towards low-income class ofindemnificatory housing system), there is a huge shortage of specific guidance and directionfor this special kind of housing.In this research, the point focus was made on Gongjuchang affordable housing project inTongzhou district of Beijing, by analysis of the principle and main points of affordablehousing design in both China and other countries, to find the design mode and specificcountermeasure of this kind of housing.Firstly, expound the origin and progress background of affordable housing in China, andthe related theories and practice in both China and other countries. Then, devise the entireprocess of research, find a feasible way.Secondly, finding out the standing、design point and requirement, audience of affordablehousing and basic condition of this project, to provide foundation to the following works ofplanning and design.Thirdly, to analyze the plan design of affordable housing, summarize the achievement ofexisting theories and practices on space、the layout of room and household of affordablehousing, then choose the best expense and comfort method to use in this project under theconsideration of actual situation.Fourthly, to analyze the elevation design of affordable housing, summarize theachievement of existing theories and practices on height of building、windows andarrangement of colors, then considerate the limiting factors、laws and regulations, to concludethe way of design which is suit to the conditions and characteristics, and put it into practice.Lastly, to dish suggestions of planning and design of affordable housing, and so that itcould be reference for evolvement of affordable housing in China.
