Yang Zhou Hua Fang Lu records the developments of endemic humanities, buildings andgardens, etc., during Qianlong period in Qing Dynasty. Gong Duan Ying Zao Lu, as onesection of it, was considered as the historical records for civil and architectural construction.Firstly this thesis expounds the significance, substance and means of the study on GongDuan Ying Zao Lu, in which the existing achievements and importance of the researcharediscussed. Then it analyzes the characteristics and distinguishing features of the bookthrough the discussion of the contents, the author and also the background of the writing. Thethird chapter gives a full interpretation of Gong Duan Ying Zao Lu which involves thecorrection of the original text, the theory source confirmation and both the summary andconnotation of each and every content of the book. It’s the most principal and significantchapter throughout and it’s also the main achievement.
