With the accelerating urbanization, the more and more expensive land, the utilization ofurban land is putted forward higher and higher requirements, as a result, the high-risebuilding gradually become the main form of urban construction project. The high-risebuilding brings complex structure, large quantities, construction process, and long periodof time, the high-rise building will cause heavy losses as a result of unreasonableconstruction schedule. At present, the multi-objective optimization of engineering projectis treated as the quantized treatment to the target and weight, or transformed into singleobjective problem which are not convincing and hard to meet the engineering requirementsin practical application.In view of this, an improved multiple Pareto genetic algorithm (MPGA) is provided asa combination of GA and Pareto, and the feasibility of MPGA is verified by an engineeringexample. A high-rise building optimal operation model is established using MPGA. Themodel provides several optimized solutions which can be used for reference to managers tothe supply of project funding, personnel and resources ahead of time.The main research content is as follows:(1) Reviewing of the optimization of the construction progress scheduling technology athome and abroad, such as bar chart, network, parallel construction technology, artificialintelligence technology, etc. By comparison, the artificial intelligence technology isselected, and the evolutionary algorithm is described.(2) For the shortcomings of the traditional multi-objective optimization technique inarchitectural Engineering, an improved multiple Pareto genetic algorithm whichincluding the elitism strategy, niche theory, the dynamic probability of crossover andmutation, adding new species is selected to set up a mode consider resource constraints,shortest time limit and minimum cost. It’s proved to be correct by an example.(3) Establish a high-rise building optimization scheduling model using MPGA.Theoptimized construction schemes designate the construction mode and thecommencement date.(4) Establish an intelligent engineering optimization scheduling system using VBA onMicrosoft Office Excel2007.When inputting the date, the system will provide bar chatand statistics of the resource. It is easy to operate the system whose interface is simple.
