With developing of the railway transportation, it brings us more rapid and convenience. The vibration breakdown causes more and more serious risks to the public property and the safety of person. It is a significant actual problem to check the high-speed railway vibration accurately for judging fault. The source of the vibration change is the force change that is instantaneous variation of acceleration value or direction. Therefore, the check of mechanical vibration is equivalent to the instantaneous acceleration state. The acceleration can resolve to different values in XYZ directions. It can get angles with the natural coordinate system through the triangle substitution calculation with the XYZ instantaneous acceleration from the sensor. Through the acceleration vector direction, vibration direction is confirmed. This thesis is the detection for XYZ three axes sensor acceleration values and each axe angle in order to judge vibration fault. To analyze the vibration signals, it can judge the machine whether is breakdown or not, and find out where and when it broke down, furthermore, detect the reasons of breakdown. The range of mechanical vibration is represented by the instantaneous variation of acceleration from all directions. The field of railway vibration detection is on track and it enters the high-speed development stage recent years, because the country and industry have developed norms and standards clearly, the large fund is invested in the development of the frontier technology every year. The MEMS acceleration sensor has been widely applied to various acceleration monitoring system and vibration monitoring system as a result of its small size, low cost, low power consumption. According to the current research situation about MEMS acceleration sensor, this thesis designs a set of monitoring system in order to detect the railway vibration that utilizes the performance characteristics of the acceleration sensor. In the thesis, the design is the railway vibration monitoring system based on ARM(STM32F103ZET6) and acceleration sensor(ADXL345). First of all, it has a briefly introduction on the railway vibration detection and proposes the whole design of the system including technology research, demand analysis, structure and characteristics, then it discusses and analyses hardware and software design in detail, finally, it is the simulation test of the data. The thesis uses data acquisition module to detect vibration signal and then the collected data is sent to the single chip processor through the IIC bus communication, the processor make the data processed through algorithm design to judge whether the data is necessary and effective vibration signal. The processed and analytic data is uploaded to the PC host computer for multi channel real-time data displaying and storage. It provides a reasonable basis for detection and judgment of railway vibration fault. It is a promising topic to design a railway vibration monitoring system based on ARM and acceleration. It makes full use of the achievements that are brought about by computer technology, so it can be more thorough and efficient on railway vibration signal detection comparing with the traditional detection method. It provides a reliable basis for the vibration fault judgment. The monitoring system is based on the data acquisition platform that is under ARM-V7 architecture including of Cortex-M3 kernel of host controller STM32F103ZET6 and acceleration sensor ADXL345, it can collect acceleration information real-time accurately and quickly, achieve processing analysis, then it upload the data to the statistics center for data processing and problem analyzing.
