Research And Design Of Power Communication Controller

With the development of the electric power system,the traditional substation has far from satisfying the demand for electric power system management mode. So substation automation technology has been obtained more and more attention, and has been widely used.Substation automation systems refers utilization of modern electronic technology, computer technology, signal processing and communications technology to realize the measurement of transmission substations, distribution lines and major equipment, protection, monitoring, and scheduling automation system communications.As the information center of substation automation system, power communication controller collect digital and analog information of the substation equipment through different communication protocols and communications media, the comprehensive post deliver it to distribution automation systems and centralized control center via the data channel after synthesizing.This paper introduces the research significance,present status of substation automation system at home and abroad, then prospect the substation automation systems. Second, the overall demand for electricity system of communication controller are described in detail. Third, this paper describe the hardware of the power communication controller overall system, including the Ethernet port and serial communication circuit communication circuit, and the use of FPGA implements the calibration function of Irig-B code, which includes leading edge detection module, frequency module detection module, saving module, second positioning module, and each functional module achieved logic synthesis and functional simulation. Finally, achieve the PCB layout.
