Through the N and S railway water supply site and their trains along the water supply water quality survey found: at present, there are many water supply problems in China,s railway site,such as simple water treatment facilities、water treatment laggard、lack of professional person, the ability of water supply is uneven, at the same time the site scattered along the railway、the large differences of geographical conditions、the large difference of regional economic development level and the surveillance capability of water quality is limited, those are why the water quality proficiency is low in our country railway site; The train water research shown that the water quality in trains is good, but there are still have unqualified, mainly include microorganisms、iron、turbidity index etc.On the basis of the survey, the visual analysis was carried out on the water quality data in this paper, including the site and the overall evaluation of train water quality、the index type analysis of unqualified water quality、the single index analysis of unqualified water quality, the characteristics of railway site withered and plentiful period water quality are analysed, and the affect of train types and train seats on water quality are studied. Then from railway site water supply of water source contamination, secondary pollution in the process of transportation, train tank compound pollution three parts analyses the causes of unqualified water quality indicators, so that which can provide the basis for water pollution prevention and control countermeasures.In view of the limited surveillance capability of water quality and the weak technical ability, the paper provides a suitable water quality risk assessment system for current railway sites and train water supply which combines the actual case, it determines the key control index and risk index, and uses factor analysis method to evaluate water quality. So that it provides a highly efficient, low-cost, reliable index monitoring system for the railway water supply system.The paper provides an comprehensive water quality control method according to current situation of unqualified railway water quality, and put forwards railway train quality control principle. Based on the impaction of railway station supply water quality of each link, this paper provides countermeasures respectively from plants and sites process and railway train water supply management system, specific conclusions are as follows:(1) To strengthen the water selection, water quality risk assessment, the railway sites should work together and provides strategies for water supply in different quality, so that it can provides ideas and principles for subsequent water pollution prevention and control measures.(2) Technology promotion, which includes strengthen the existing water-supply plant process, such as flocculation and filtration process、rechlorination on the transition; using the membrane treatment technology in the site water purification process; this paper provides two plans for secondary pollution problems: one is to strengthen and improve the protection water injection at the mouth of the train, second is to put forward asuitable membrane technology fortrain water.(3) To strengthen the operation management, mainly from three aspects : water plant、site and train. Including setting up reasonable water monitoring site, periodic sampling test, regular maintenance and management of network, properly keep plant and site of the calendar year water quality data, etc.Finally, aiming at the heavy metal pollution of water quality status of the railway, in recent years, this paper presented a technology that attapulgite allied ultrafiltration to remove heavy metal ions in water, did some experiments to study the technology,it was carried out and achieved good results. Intending to supply a new idea to the railway department for dealing with sudden pollution event of water quality.
